Downloading and opening PDF files
We have created several documents available from these web pages that are intended to be taken away and/or printed. They have been compiled into PDF (Portable Document Format) to ensure compatibility with your computer/printer and so they are easy to use.

Opening PDFs
Wherever you see the PDF icon you can simply click the link to open the document in a new browser window. In a small number of cases extra software will be required (see below) but in most cases the document will now be visible and can simply be saved or printed from your browser menu. Alternatively PC users can right click on the link to the file and choose “save target as”. Your computer will now prompt you for a file location where you may save the PDF for use later on.

I can't open PDF files, now what?
PDF files can be opened and viewed using the Adobe Acrobat viewer programme. In most cases the viewer is already installed on your computer but for some users it will be necessary to download and install it first. The Adobe Acrobat viewer programme is free for everyone and can be automatically downloaded and installed very quickly and easily by clicking the logo to the right and following the simple steps outlined.
