    Training Courses  
We offer a range of training courses, focussing on the awareness, control and management of Water Hygiene and Legionnaires’ Disease.

The following courses are run throughout the UK and are available to organisations who wish to send a single delegate or multiple delegates. The courses are particularly suited to organisations which have large property portfolios, such as Local Authorities, Housing Associations, NHS Trusts and Universities. The format of the courses is a small seminar style, permitting open discussion and question/answer sessions. For more information please click on the relevant course.

Legionnaires’ Disease: Role of the Responsible Person
This course provides information on the legal obligations of the Responsible Person with guidance on how to achieve systematic risk management to satisfy the HSE L8 Approved Code of Practice (and HTM.04:01 where relevant). This course deals with the legal and management aspects of managing the risk.

Legionnaires’ Disease: Role of the Authorised Person
This course provides information on the risks posed by legionnaires’ disease and the operational/technical measures for controlling and minimising such risks. It includes the control of Legionella, water hygiene, “safe” hot water, cold water, drinking water systems and air conditioning.
It covers the relevant aspects of HSE ACoP L8 and the latest approach of the NHS to managing water risks (HTM 04-01 and the legionellosis aspects of HTM 03-01) This course deals with the operational aspects of preventing the risk.

Legionnaires’ Disease: Role of the Competent Person
This course provides information on the risks posed by legionnaires’ disease and the practical measures for controlling and minimising such risks.
