New Authorising Engineers [Water] - Water Hygiene Centre

Once again, we are very pleased to announce that our team continues to expand with the arrival of two new Senior Consultants.

Both Anthony Paskin and Craig Morning join our team of Authorising Engineers [Water] here at the Water Hygiene Centre.

Antony Paskin

Antony has extensive experience in delivering legionella and other water safety related risk management solutions providing consultancy and advisory services to clients including hospitals and healthcare premises, social housing, multinational hotel chains; and industrial, offices and other commercial facilities throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe. He brings with him over 20 years' experience in the water hygiene industry and is currently a senior member of the Water Management Society and a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.  Antony studied at Derby University and has a BSc in Chemistry.

"Having spent over 20 years within the Water Treatment Industry and the frustrations that sometimes this poses, I am extremely excited to be joining Water Hygiene Centre and their team as a Senior Consultant, offering Authorising Engineer services to established and new clients. In the short time I have been working with the team, I have been impressed with the level of knowledge and teamwork demonstrated under Daniel’s leadership and look forward to many years ahead". Antony Paskin - Authorising Engineer [Water].

Craig Morning

Craig joins us after several years of experience in the water hygiene industry, from starting as a Water Hygiene Technician back in 2006 to recently acting as a Director in a Legionella Consultancy providing management training, assessments and auditing to a variety of organisations, including healthcare and the public sector.  He has previously acted as an independent consultant bridging the gap between clients and their sub-contractors to ensure that work is being delivered correctly and compliance is achieved, this includes developing water safety plans and delivering suitable and sufficient training.

“I’m delighted to have accepted the opportunity to join the Water Hygiene Centre and I am looking forward to getting out with our clients in Scotland to see where we can help them to manage their responsibilities under SHTM 04-01, ACoP L8 and HSG 274"  Craig Morning - Authorising Engineer [Water].

Initially Antony will be supporting some of our existing clients in the South of England and Midlands, with Craig supporting those in Scotland and the North of England in the capacity of Authorising Engineer (Water), providing expert independent professional advice and consultancy support in assessing risk and the safe management of water distribution systems in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG 274 & HTM 04-01.

Managing Director, Daniel Pitcher said “The selection process for a Senior Consultant to join the team is quite a challenge, the depth of experience of a candidate is a very important consideration which must include skills with assessments, audits, training and consultancy and they must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge on regulations and guidance.  Antony and Craig were both exceptional through the recruitment process and were both very clear candidates to be inducted to the Water Hygiene Centre.  The last 18 months have been the busiest time for us all here at the Water Hygiene Centre.  Antony and Craig will bring additional skills and knowledge to the existing AE Hive Mind, resilience in service delivery for clients as well as an improved environmental gain with less travel requirements".

Please join us in extending a heartfelt welcome to both Antony & Craig as they begin their journey with the Water Hygiene Centre.
